What is Face Mapping?

Face mapping is a non-invasive and non-surgical way of understanding health problems. This technique was originally used by ancient Chinese healers. They were experts in this field who could detect major diseases and internal problems by just looking at the face and spotting acne patterns or dry skin areas.

How is it used?
Our body is a complex piece of machinery where all the parts are interconnected. No wonder, when one part malfunctions, it affects the other parts too. Many doctors use face mapping to detect internal problems and major diseases. Observing the position and pattern of acne on one’s face is a method used by doctors to detect various internal problems, called organ face mapping.

What is organ face mapping?
Organ face mapping is a method whereby acne breakouts in various parts of the face are linked to internal problems in organs. There are ways of being certain about which organ is causing the breakout. Here is a list of acne breakout spots on the face and the problem they reflect:

Forehead acne
Consuming an excessive amount of fatty foods, processed food, alcohol, and even stress can put your stomach and liver in great distress. This also greatly dehydrates your stomach. This is manifested as acne on the forehead region. The best counter is to stay well hydrated. Try to drink about 12 glasses of water a day. It is also best to stay away from alcohol and junk food.

Acne in the area around the eyebrows
The area around your eyebrows can reveal that you are suffering from liver problems. This may be because you consume too much meat. Meat takes a longer time to digest and overworks the liver and stomach. Usually, after consuming meat, you should give your digestive system a break. Eat some fruits and veggies as they are easier to digest. Alongside, take a walk, as light exercise can be beneficial for every part of the body. The fresh air is great too. This is sure to cure the problem.

Acne on the cheek
Acne on the cheek may be indicative of teeth problems. We go about our daily lives eating whatever we please but forget to care for our teeth. If you notice acne on your cheeks, start taking care of your teeth. Start brushing twice a day, use good toothpaste, floss regularly and avoid overly sweet foods and drinks.

Acne near the mouth and chin region
This is suggestive of stomach problems. Consumption of excessive amount of sugary foods and alcohol can overwork and stress the stomach. This distresses the stomach and that manifests as acne near the mouth and chin. Start eating healthy and avoiding alcohol and overly sugary foods. Consumption of fermented foods can help digestion.

Acne around the eye
Acne in this area usually means there is stress on the kidneys. This may be due to severe dehydration. This is in turn, due to smoking, a weak heart or alcoholism. Some of the ways to treat this problem are to completely prevent the consumption of alcohol, drink lots of water and to avoid drinking caffeine products.

Acne near the cheekbones
Acne in the upper cheek region is suggestive of lung problems. We live in the age of air pollution and by simply stepping out of our houses, we expose ourselves to lung problems. The best way to combat this is to quit smoking, if you do and avoid going to highly polluted areas. If you must, use a filter mask and try not to expose yourself to the poor air.

Acne on the neck and jaw region
This is indicative of a hormonal imbalance. This can lead to serious problems if not treated early. Hormonal imbalances can cause a lot of problems. To normalize the hormonal balance, reduce salt and caffeine intake. Eating a healthy and balanced diet is a way to normalize the hormones.

Nose acne
Acne near or on the nose is indicative of heart problems. You must take precautions before it becomes any more serious. You must start eating healthy and exercising regularly. Cardio usually helps in strengthening the heart. Avoid consuming too much salt. It is important to purify the blood to make it healthier.
